License Agreement

This License Agreement ("License") governs how you can use the animation components and related files (each a "Product") that you download from figanimations.com (the "Site"), whether purchased or downloaded for free. The Site is operated by Talha Javed Khan ("we", "us", "our").

By downloading or using a Product, you ("Licensee" or "you") accept this License. If you don't accept it, don't download or use the Product.

1. What you get

When you download a Product, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, perpetual license to use that Product, subject to the rules below.

"Perpetual" means your right to use a Product you've already downloaded doesn't expire — even if you stop using FigAnimations or we stop selling that Product.

2. What you can do

You can:

  • Use the Product in unlimited personal and commercial Figma projects, including projects you build for paying clients or your employer
  • Modify, customise, recolour, and adapt the Product to fit your design
  • Combine the Product with your own work and with other components
  • Include the resulting design in prototypes, mockups, presentations, and shipped products (websites, apps, marketing materials, etc.)
  • Share the Figma file containing the Product with collaborators, clients, or your employer as part of a project deliverable

No attribution is required, though it's always appreciated.

3. What you can't do

You cannot:

  • Resell, redistribute, or relicense the Product in its original or near-original form — alone or as part of a bundle, kit, template, theme, or asset pack
  • Repackage the Product and sell or give it away as a standalone Figma resource or component library
  • Share the raw Product file publicly (e.g., on Figma Community, GitHub, Google Drive, Dribbble files, etc.) in a way that lets others download or copy it for their own design use
  • Claim authorship of the Product or represent that you created it
  • Use the Product in a way that is unlawful, infringing, or designed to harm
  • Train machine-learning or generative AI models on the Product

The simple test: the design you ship can include the Product. A file someone else can copy the Product from cannot.

4. Team and company use

A Product license is for one individual or one small team within a single organisation. If your company has multiple designers who each want to use FigAnimations Products in their own work, each of them should have their own license.

5. Free animations

The free animations on FigAnimations are licensed under the same terms as paid Products. They are not public domain, not Creative Commons, and not free to redistribute. The rules in Sections 2 and 3 apply equally to free downloads.

6. Ownership

We retain full ownership of, and all intellectual property rights in, the Products. This License grants you a right to use the Products — it does not transfer any ownership to you. Anything in the Site, including the Products, that isn't expressly licensed to you here is reserved.

Your own design work that incorporates a Product remains yours; you just can't carve the Product back out and redistribute it.

7. Termination

This License ends automatically if you breach it — for example, by reselling or redistributing a Product. On termination, you must stop using the Product and delete any copies. We may also revoke a Product license if you receive a refund for it.

Sections 3, 6, 7, 8, and 9 survive termination.

8. No warranty

Products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee they'll be error-free, compatible with every Figma version or plugin, or fit for a particular purpose. Use them at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of a Product. Our total liability for any claim related to a Product is limited to the amount you paid for that Product.
